For Task 1 of Exercise 10, we are to assume that all keys and values are valid ASCII characters.

Is only the original 7 bit ASCII considered valid, or should we consider 8 bit extended ASCII also valid?

Furthermore, are non-printable control characters, which are valid ASCII characters, also to be considered?

Thank you in advance

You should assume the normal 7-bit ASCII values encoded as 8-bit (i.e., the most common way).

Assuming the type of the character will not change the result :)
