Browser extensions & Grading of Exercise 3

Hello,

I have the problem that it seems like when I download any file provided in exercises, an automatic script tag referring to the download location (via url) is added (I presume due to a browser extension). I tried resolving this problem with different browsers and in incognito mode, but I could not remove this.
How can I fix this problem, and how am I supposed to know if a url in a downloaded html file is placed there intentionally for the task, or if it stems from my browser extension? Do you have any advice for this problem? I believe I am not the only one experiencing this.

Apart from that, question number 2 in exercise 3 was capped to 10% for me, because it was "redirected". However, it is not redirected when I open the html file locally, though. Since exercise 3 is not fully graded yet, I understand that you are probably already aware of it. I just wanted to point that out just in case.

I cannot reproduce your issue. Opening the file in a new tab and using "Save link as…" yield identical results, all without spurious script tags. (I used Chromium and Firefox)

If you have further information about the issue you are encountering, it would be greatly appreciated.

I found a workaround, for anyone experiencing the same issue: Pause your (additional) threat protection before downloading the file

Could you identify a specific extension that caused the tags to be added in your case?

Yes, it wasnt actually a browser extension, but the threat protection (pro) from NordVPN
